30-Day Review Challenge Terms

These terms govern entry into and participation in the 30-Day Review Challenge. By paying the entry fee you agree to them.

Last updated September 13, 2026

1. Entry period

Entry opens September 13, 2026 and closes October 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Entries submitted after that time will not be accepted.

2. Sponsor

The challenge is sponsored and administered by Hometrics, [mailing address to be added].

3. Entry fee and refunds

Entry is $100, payable at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Entry fees are non-refundable.

4. Eligibility

Entry is open to home service businesses that have been in operation for at least two years and can provide a list of at least 100 past paying customers for outreach. Entrants must have the authority to contact those customers and to accept these terms on behalf of the business. We may decline or refund any entry at our discretion before the challenge begins.

5. How the winner is determined

The winner is the participant with the highest conversion rate: qualifying new Google reviews divided by review requests sent during the challenge. A qualifying review is a new Google review left by a past paying customer during the conversion window, attributable to a request sent through the challenge campaign.

Timeline
The challenge starts October 5, 2026.
New customer sequences may be triggered through October 24, 2026, day 20, so that each 10-day sequence completes by November 3, 2026, day 30.
The conversion window closes November 3, 2026.
Verification begins immediately after, and the winner is announced November 6, 2026.

If two or more participants tie on conversion rate, the first tiebreaker is the higher average star rating among reviews earned during the challenge. If a tie remains, the donation is split evenly between the tied participants' chosen charities.

6. No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee any specific number of reviews, any change in search ranking or visibility, any revenue outcome, or a win. We run your review campaign for the full 30 days regardless of where you finish. Results depend on your customer volume, the accuracy of the contact list you provide, and whether your customers choose to respond. Nothing on the challenge page or in any communication from us should be read as a promise of results.

7. Your customer list and consent

You are responsible for the list you submit. By submitting it you confirm that each contact is a past paying customer of your business, that you obtained their contact information lawfully, and that you have the consent required under applicable law to send them text messages and email about their experience. You will not include friends, relatives, employees, or any contact who has asked not to be contacted. We use the list solely to send review requests on your behalf during the challenge, and we do not sell it or use it for any other purpose.

8. Verification and disqualification

Before the donation is made, the winner will be asked to produce customer records substantiating the reviews generated. We may disqualify any participant who submits contacts who are not past paying customers, offers incentives in exchange for reviews, filters requests to favor customers expected to leave positive reviews, or otherwise attempts to manipulate the outcome. Reviews removed by Google do not count. Our determination of the results is final.

9. The donation

We will donate $1,000 in the winning company's name to a charity or foundation of the winner's choosing, paid directly to that organization. The organization must be a legitimate charitable entity able to accept a donation by check or electronic transfer. The donation is not paid to the winner in cash and has no cash alternative. Any tax consequences are the recipient organization's and the winner's responsibility.

10. Standings and publicity

Standings are shared by email and posted publicly on social media during the challenge. By entering, you agree that your business name, review counts, and conversion rate may appear in those standings and in announcements of the results.

11. Google and carrier compliance

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Review requests must comply with Google's review policies and with applicable messaging regulations. We may pause or modify any campaign to remain compliant.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the challenge is limited to the entry fee you paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business, or for review removals, platform changes, or service interruptions outside our control.

13. Changes

We may update these terms before the challenge begins, and will note the date of any change above. If we cancel the challenge before it begins, entry fees are refunded in full.

14. Contact and governing law

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@hometrics.io. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
